About Me

Hi, I’m Francis Lillie.

I used to be a game dev professional, and have been lucky enough to have written quite a number of published games, some of them from some well known franchises, but I gave it all up full-time about 17 years ago, but kept going part-time for another 5 years.

I’ve loved games since I was very young, but loved programming even more, so it seemed obvious to me to write games.

In my new career outside the games industry I use a lot of techniques learned in games development, which has helped me move up the career ladder to where I now find myself.

Outside work, I love spending time with my wife and kids, walking the dogs (3 pugs), spending time on the local beach (15 minutes walk), programming (no surprise there), gaming (again, no surprise), Taekwondo (studying for my 4th Dan) and reading. Keep myself busy.

Please use the links at the top of the page to find out more about my games industry days, and a little about what I do now, some of which I can’t really talk about.

Feel free to contact me using the social media links, or the contact form.
