Since leaving the games industry I have been working in technology and programming but have diversified so that I now specialise in a number of areas, including but not limited to:
- Data collection and verification applications
- RDBMS administration
- Database design, execution and management
- Efficient data manipulation
- Data transformation services
- .NET framework applications
- SQL Server CE RDS system
- Rapid development and deployment of bespoke software systems
- System design and implementation
- Hardware and software support for site staff
I have only had one employer since leaving the games industry, and from starting of as just an I.T. assistant I now have the title of CTO within that organisation, and sit on the senior management team.
It was also this employer that prompted me to study for, and paid for, by BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, and who are also now paying for my MA in Indie Game Development, for which I am extremely grateful.
